While her covert investigation eventually leads her to single mom Jane Brighton (RACHEL LEIGH COOK), Nancy also attends high school where her old-fashioned ways and attire immediately draw the derision of teens such as Inga (DANIELLA MONET) and Trish (KELLY VITZ). The mystery of what happened to her was never solved, and that's too tempting for Nancy to pass up, even if caretaker Leshing (MARSHALL BELL) seems a bit too intense, not to mention creepy.
